The Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law (CertHE), awarded by the University of London, provides a recognised foundation in English law. It covers essential subjects such as Contract, Criminal, and Public Law, along with legal reasoning skills. Designed as both a stand alone qualification and an entry route to the LLB, the CertHE equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to progress in legal studies or enhance career opportunities in related fields.
Program Overview
The CertHE Common Law is a qualification in its own right that also provides an entry route to degree study. The modules studied in the CertHE Common Law are the same as the Level 4 modules of the LLB. Students must register through a teaching centre that is recognised to offer support for the programme. ICLS has the Permission to Teach Status for CertHE Common Law.
